Checklist templates (e.g. the Swiss deregistration checklist) automatically become concrete tasks when a case is created – with a due date, assignment, a dashboard widget and a reminder when overdue.
Calendar & reminders
Lyings in repose, farewell ceremonies, interments and crematorium appointments in a monthly overview – including reminders by email and in the notification centre. With an ICS subscription, appointments and open tasks automatically land in Google, Outlook or Apple Calendar (from the Team plan).
Quotations & invoices with QR payment slip
Estimates and invoices with the Swiss QR payment slip, VAT breakdown, disbursements from the tariff catalogue and delivery directly by email – in the language of the case if you wish. You create the invoice directly from the case file.
bexio integration
Invoices in your bexio accounting at the push of a button: contacts are matched automatically, and the bexio document number and a direct link end up on the record. For any other accounting service provider, there is the CSV invoice journal.
Funeral stationery & document templates
Death notices and thank-yous as PDFs directly from the case file – in three typographic variants and in the document language of the case. Plus auto-fill templates for Swiss standard documents (power of attorney, funeral mandate, cost confirmation, notification to the insurer).
Document storage & archive
File medical certificates of death, directives, contracts and photos directly in the case file – protected and fully traceable. Completed cases move to the archive: read-only, searchable and reactivatable at any time.
Payment reminders
Up to three configurable reminder levels with deadlines and fees. Due payment reminders appear automatically on the dashboard.
Inventory & items
Coffins, urns and accessories with stock levels, low-stock alerts, inventory value and a complete movement history – reservations directly on the case.
Inquiries to partners – no login required
Pastors, florists and crematoriums confirm appointments with one click via a secure link. Responses land directly in the case file.
Family portal
Support families digitally too: via a personal link – no account, no login – next of kin can see the process, public appointments and shared documents. They upload their own documents and approve funeral stationery drafts with one click – documented as proof of data protection compliance (from the Team plan).
App for on the go
The Viatia app for your phone: your cases are always with you thanks to the offline cache, and you scan documents with the camera, optimised for readability. Record the first contact right on site – name and phone number are enough; you add the rest later at your desk. Appointments and tasks in the agenda; everything syncs automatically as soon as reception is back. For Android; iOS in preparation.
On-call duty & push alert
Funerals keep no office hours: plan on-call and stand-in duties in the weekly grid – visible to the whole team, including in the app. When a new case comes in, Viatia alerts the staff on call via push notification to their phone – one tap opens the case file.

In return, we look forward to structured feedback during the first 6 months – and afterwards, entirely optionally, to a reference. With all plans: hosting and data storage in Switzerland, revFADP-compliant, interface in 5 languages. With annual payment you save around 12 %.

How the licence works
- Pilot programme (first 10 customers): Setup fee fully waived and plan price guaranteed for 24 months from the start of the contract. In return, we ask for structured feedback during the first 6 months and afterwards – voluntarily – for a reference.
- Per organisation, clearly tiered: One subscription covers your entire funeral home or municipality. The plans differ by number of users, cases per year and integration scope.
- Cancellable monthly: No minimum term, no notice period beyond the current month. With annual payment you save around 12 %.
- Setup including support: The one-time setup fee (Solo CHF 490.–, Team CHF 1'490.–, Institut individually) covers the setup of your company and, on request, the migration of your existing master data – fully waived for pilot customers.
- Your data belongs to you: If you cancel, you receive a full export of your data (an accounting export is built in at all times).
